This policy explains what personal information we collect through keyuramin.com, why we collect it, who we share it with and how long we keep it. “We” and “us” means Keyur Amin, a sole trader based in Melbourne, Australia.
It covers this website, the free AI visibility check, report emails, the Get found sign-up, the client dashboard and payments. If we work with you on something else, we’ll tell you at the time if anything different applies.
In short
- We collect what you type into our forms, plus a few technical details we need to run the website safely.
- We use it to provide what you asked for. We don’t sell it, and we don’t add you to a mailing list.
- We use a small number of service providers to run the website, send emails, take payments and ask AI tools questions. Some of them store data outside Australia.
- You can ask to see, correct or delete your information at any time.
The free AI visibility check
When you run a check, you give us a website address, a business name, a suburb and what the business does. We store these with the result.
- The website you enter. Our checker reads the public pages of that website, the same way a search engine does. It identifies itself honestly and doesn’t try to get past a website’s security. We keep the pages it read for 24 hours, so a second check of the same site is quicker.
- Your IP address. We don’t store it. We keep a scrambled version (a salted hash) so we can limit how many checks one visitor can run.
- Bot protection. The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a person, not a bot, is using it. Cloudflare processes information about your browser to do this.
- What AI tools say. Some checks also ask ChatGPT (OpenAI), Gemini (Google) and Perplexity a question a customer might ask, written by Claude (Anthropic) from the business description and suburb. The question doesn’t include your name or email address. We store the answers with the result.
We delete check results after 90 days, unless you asked us to email you the report or signed up for Get found from that check.
Report emails
If you ask us to email you a report, we collect your email address. We use it to send that report and keep a record that we sent it. We don’t add you to a mailing list or send you marketing emails. We keep this record until you ask us to delete it, or until we no longer need it.
The Get found sign-up
When you sign up for Get found, we collect:
- your business details: business name, type of business, website, phone number, address, suburb and state, opening hours and the services you list;
- your contact details: your name, email address and mobile number;
- how your website is looked after, including the name and email address of your web person if you give them;
- whether you have a Google Business Profile and Google Search Console, and how you’d like your address shown;
- the five questions you choose, the suburbs in them and how far they are from your business.
We use this to do the work, keep you updated and measure the result. To help you choose your questions, we send your business description, the services you list and your questions to Claude (Anthropic), which suggests questions and checks they’re about your services.
When you sign up, you invite us into your accounts (such as your website platform and Google Business Profile) from those accounts. We never ask for your passwords.
Weekly checks of what AI tools say
For clients, we ask ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity your five questions before we start and every week, three times each. Each tool gets the question word for word. Where a tool supports it, we also give it the approximate location (your suburb and state), so it answers the way it would for a local customer. We store every answer, with the date and its sources, as a record of the result. You see them in your emails and in your dashboard.
Payments
Payments are handled by Stripe. You enter your card details on Stripe’s secure page, and we never see or store your full card number. Stripe keeps your card on file so the balance can be charged only if the agreed target is reached. We store the Stripe references for your payments and their status, not your card details. If the target isn’t reached in time, or your setup fee is refunded, we remove the saved card.
Stripe also creates your tax invoices and receipts and emails them to you. Stripe handles your payment information under its own privacy policy.
The client dashboard and cookies
You sign in to your dashboard with a link we email you. The link works for 15 minutes. When you use it, we set one cookie that keeps you signed in for 30 days. Signing out removes it. We use it only to show you your own account.
We don’t use advertising cookies or tracking cookies.
Website analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see how many people visit our pages. It tells us which pages are viewed, which website people came from, which country they’re in and how quickly pages load. It doesn’t use cookies or store anything in your browser, and it doesn’t use your IP address or browser details to identify you.
Emails we send
We send emails (reports, sign-in links, sign-up confirmations and weekly results) through Resend. Keyur also gets an email when someone signs up, and a daily summary of report requests, so he can follow up on the work.
Who we share information with
We share information only with the service providers we need to run the website and the service, and only for that purpose:
- Cloudflare hosts the website, stores our data, runs the bot check on our forms and counts visits to our pages.
- Resend sends our emails.
- Stripe takes payments, keeps cards on file for the balance, and issues tax invoices and receipts.
- Anthropic (Claude) writes and checks customer questions from your business description and services.
- OpenAI (ChatGPT), Google (Gemini) and Perplexity answer the customer questions we ask them. They receive the question and an approximate location, not your contact details.
These providers may store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States. We don’t sell personal information, and we don’t share it with anyone else unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
- Check results: 90 days, unless you asked for the report or signed up from that check.
- Report requests: until you ask us to delete them, or we no longer need them.
- Client records, answers and payment records: while we work with you, and afterwards for as long as we need them for our business and tax records. Australian tax law generally requires five years.
How we protect it
Within our business, only Keyur can see client information. We keep scrambled versions of IP addresses instead of the addresses themselves. Sign-in links expire after 15 minutes and are stored only in scrambled form. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you give us.
Seeing, correcting or deleting your information
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We may need to keep some records, such as tax invoices, for as long as the law requires.
To ask, or to raise a privacy concern, reply to any email we’ve sent you about your sign-up, or get in touch through our contact page. We’ll reply within a reasonable time. If you’re not happy with how we handle your concern, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Changes to this policy
We’ll update this page if anything changes, and change the date at the top.
